What we collect and why

When you ask for launch updates, we save your email address, signup and consent dates, the notice versions shown, subscription status, an unsubscribe-token hash, and confirmation delivery status. We use these records for signup confirmation, RebidWire launch and availability updates and to handle your requests. We do not sell signup information or share it for other companies’ marketing.

Service providers and technical records

We use Vercel to host the site and process signup requests, and Neon to store signup records in PostgreSQL. These providers process information needed to operate those services. Our application does not log submitted email addresses. Hosting infrastructure may process connection addresses and technical request information for security and operation.

To limit repeated submissions, the application stores a date-scoped hash of a connection address, a time window and an attempt count. These are pseudonymous technical records, not anonymous information. Records older than approximately one day are removed when subsequent valid signup requests are processed. If there are no further requests, those records remain until cleanup runs.

Cookies and analytics

Our application does not add advertising pixels, analytics or cookies. Hosting providers may process technical information to secure and operate their services. Page fonts and assets are served with the site. Links to external public records open those organizations’ sites, whose policies apply there.

Your choices and retention

Use the unsubscribe link in your confirmation to stop updates. You can also email hello@cairn-labs.com to request access, correction, removal or to stop launch updates. We retain signup records until you request removal or we remove the list. There is no automatic deletion deadline for signup records. If you ask us to stop updates, we may retain your address with an unsubscribed status to honor that request; you can also ask us to delete your signup record. Removal from provider backups, where present, follows the provider’s backup lifecycle.

Email delivery

Read Resend’s privacy policy.

We use Resend to send a branded confirmation for a new signup. Resend processes the recipient address, message and technical delivery information. Open and click tracking are disabled. Each confirmation includes an unsubscribe link. Selecting the link opens a preference page; submitting that page records your opt-out. An email already submitted for delivery may still arrive. Duplicate submissions do not reactivate an unsubscribed address. We retain delivery status and provider message identifiers to avoid duplicate confirmations. Pending delivery records temporarily contain the message and unsubscribe link; the message is cleared after successful dispatch or cancellation. A scheduled recovery task retries pending confirmations in small batches. Retries stop 23 hours after the message is queued. The task also clears expired pending messages in batches; cleanup may be delayed by a backlog or service outage. Delivery records include the sender and reply address used for that message. Resend also applies its own bounce and complaint suppression. Future launch sends must respect our stored unsubscribe status; no launch campaign or backfill is enabled.
